Weekend Nanny/Mother’s help

Position Overview-
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend Nanny/Mother's Help on behalf of a high-net-worth family with residences in London and the Cotswolds. The family has one delightful 1-year-old boy who requires attentive care and support throughout the weekend.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young children and is comfortable supporting the family with both childcare and household tasks during weekends.

Schedule & Location-
- Hours: Friday 5:00 PM – Sunday 5:00 PM (48-hour shift)
- Location: London, with occasional travel to their home in the Cotswolds
- Flexibility: Some travel between properties may be required
- Start Date: ASAP (will wait for the right profile)

Compensation & Benefits-
- Salary:£250-£350 per 24-hour period (£500-£700 per weekend)
- All expenses covered (travel (outside of normal commute), accommodation, meals)

Key Responsibilities-
Childcare Duties:
- Provide attentive, nurturing care for the family's 1-year-old son throughout the weekend
- Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities, play, and developmental stimulation
- Manage all aspects of the child's routine including meals, naps, bathing, and bedtime
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
- Accompany the family on outings and activities as needed
- Maintain the child's safety and wellbeing at all times

Mother's Help/Household Support Duties:
- Assist with children's laundry, ensuring clothes are washed, dried, and put away
- Keep the child's bedroom, playroom, and nursery areas tidy and organised
- Organise and maintain the child's wardrobe and toys
- Run errands related to the child (e.g., purchasing supplies, collecting prescriptions as needed)
- Provide light household support as needed to help the family enjoy their weekend
- Assist with meal preparation for the family when appropriate
- Support with tidying communal family areas

Ideal Candidate-
- Experience working with young children, particularly toddlers (1-3 years)
- Paediatric First Aid certification (essential)
- Warm, patient, and nurturing personality with a genuine love for children
- Proactive, hands-on approach with excellent initiative
- Comfortable providing both childcare and household support
- Excellent references from previous families
- Flexibility to travel between London and the Cotswolds
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional manner
- Enhanced DBS check (can be arranged if not already held)
- Non-smoker
- Driver preferred but not essential

Working Environment-
You will be working with a lovely, welcoming family who value their weekend time together. The role combines hands-on childcare with practical household support, allowing the parents to relax and enjoy quality time with their son while having assistance with the practicalities. Accommodation will be provided when staying at either residence.
