Job Summary:
This lovely role in Doha supports a professional family with four young children, including two in school and toddler twins. Working core hours of Sunday to Thursday (55–60 hours), the role focuses on maintaining routines, preparing the children for their day, organising school/nursery runs, planning to engage activities, supporting development, and ensuring plenty of outdoor, screen-free play. Duties also include meal preparation for the children, homework support, and accompanying them to after-school clubs, with a driver and housekeepers already in place.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with multiple children, preferably within the region, and brings a warm, calm, and professional approach that respects family privacy. A second language is a bonus, as are confident swimming skills. The family values open communication and structure, and seeks someone energetic, organised, and willing to travel who can help the children feel secure, supported, and understood as they grow.
Job specification:
• Core working hours: Sunday to Thursday, 55-60 hours per week, with flexibility required for family needs regarding both days and hours
• School/nursery drop-off and pick-up (driver on staff)
• Getting the children ready for the day, including packing school bags and preparing lunches/snacks
• Escorting children to after-school clubs (horse riding, ballet, gymnastics, sports activities)
• Engaging the children in play, organising local outings to parks, arranging playdates, and attending toddler classes/local children’s activities
• Providing homework support and assistance with school-related admin
• Supporting child development and helping them reach age-appropriate milestones
• Preparing children’s meals and snacks (in coordination with housekeepers) - balanced, family-style meals
• Maintaining the established daily routine: naps, school, clubs, and activities
• Ensuring the children stay active and spend plenty of time outdoors (garden time and outdoor activities)
Candidate specification:
• Strong experience and proven longevity working with multiple children (three or more) and with ages ranging from 1 year to school age
• A second language is a bonus (Italian, Spanish, or French)
• Previous experience within the region
• Friendly, communicative, and able to maintain open, respectful dialogue
• Calm, patient, welcoming, honest, respectful, and able to uphold family privacy
• Professional yet warm - understands appropriate boundaries between employer and employee while remaining approachable
• Confident swimmer: horse riding experience is a bonus
• Willing and able to travel with the family
