Job Description:
ASAP start in Essex, UK + international travel (inc. Florida USA & Europe) for a top, Live-in Nanny (separate accommodation)
We’re looking for an experienced, professional, and caring Live-in Nanny to join a warm, down-to-earth family with two young children: a curious, playful little boy and his joyful baby sister. The family splits their time between a beautiful rural estate in Essex and a sunny home in Florida USA, with occasional trips to Europe. This role is perfect for a hands-on, proactive nanny who loves both outdoor adventures and creating special moments indoors — someone just as comfortable exploring fields in wellies as relaxing by the pool in the Florida sunshine.

About the Family:
Our clients are both busy professionals in the public eye, who value discretion, calm-professionalism and warmth. They describe their home as relaxed but very well-organised — a setting where humour, kindness and initiative are highly valued, and they would like their new nanny to have the same values. The children are currently in a lovely routine — eating well and sleeping through the night — so consistency and gentle guidance are key to keeping things running smoothly. A live-in housekeeper supports the household, allowing the nanny to focus on the children’s wellbeing, development and routines. The nanny will have sole and shared charge at different times, providing attentive and loving care to both children and ensuring smooth daily routines.

General Nanny responsibilities will include:
~ Schedule: 6 days pw | 07:30 – 18:00/18:30
~ Planning and leading age-appropriate activities to support development and imagination.
~ Arranging playdates, classes, and adventures (rain or shine!).
~ Preparing fresh, balanced meals and healthy snacks for the children.
~ Keeping the nursery and play areas organised and tidy.
~ Supporting parents with occasional proxy care during travel or work commitments.
~ Joining the family for up to three months over winter (Florida for some winter sunshine! And also EU).

We are seeking a nanny who is:
~ Very experienced and ideally formally trained (e.g., Norland, Chiltern, Montessori, Cache, etc.).
~ Confident driving in rural settings (car provided for work use).
~ Pet-friendly and comfortable living in the countryside.
~ Adaptable, proactive and self-motivated, with a positive, can-do attitude.
~ A clear communicator with excellent organisational skills and a “tidy-as-you-go” mindset.
~ Passionate about childhood development, creativity, and outdoor play.
~ Discreet and professional, understanding the importance of privacy.

Essential Requirements:
~ Valid UK passport (for travel to the USA & Europe).
~ Ability to commit long-term and travel for extended periods.
~ Excellent, check-able references from previous long-term nanny roles.
