Experienced and professional bilingual overseas Governess sought for a role in Doha, Qatar. The Governess will be caring/teaching one boy aged 21 months on a shared charge basis alongside a Nanny who has worked for the family since the boy was born. The family are seeking a Governess who is extremely organised, proactive and has a passion in assisting with early development milestones. The Governess will be responsible in teaching English, instilling manners/etiquette, assisting with stimulation through play and other activities, assisting with early development and organising age related activities. The ability to teach English manners, pronunciation and grammar is required. A keen eye for actively monitoring social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development is essential and a background in child psychology would be a bonus. A Montessori or similar educational background is essential. A candidate who plays a musical instrument would also be desirable. The Governess must have an excellent command of English. An Arabic, Farsi or Russian speaker would also be a bonus. A team player is essential as the household is fully staffed, with a Nanny, Housekeeper Chef and Chauffeur employed. Working 5 days per week, 8-10 hours per day. Occasional proxy parenting and overseas travel required (locations such as UK, France and Switzerland). Accommodation provided is own bedroom in shared house alongside other staff. Offering a salary from £1,300pwn (£101,379gpa) depending on experience and qualifications.
