This loving and welcoming family are looking for a friendly, calm and proactive person to become a part of their family life. Mum is expecting her second child and is not feeling well so is looking for some extra help, particularly on a weekend.

They have a 2 year old boy who is a happy and fun character who loves to spend time outdoors. Your duties will be 50% child care and 50% household duties. They enjoy a healthy lifestyle and are keen to find a confident cook who is capable cooking nutritious and well balanced meals, they eat all organic food and there are no chemicals in the house. They will require family laundry, ironing, cleaning of their lovely home which they like to be kept clean and tidy and changing of bedding.

The ideal candidate will understand how to grow confidence through giving the child a sense of autonomy and responsibility when learning about the world, in many ways like the Montessori approach and someone who can foster creativity and imagination. Mum will be around so you need to be comfortable with this and Dad may be around at the weekends too. You will also need to be comfortable with dogs as the family have a spaniel.

Hours/days they are looking for are a Saturday or Sunday 9am-1.30pm and there is also the option of 1 or 2 mornings in the week (Tuesday and Thursday). They do have a Nanny that works most of the week with them, who we placed and she is very happy there. This position could suit a junior Nanny or someone in a setting that would like to gain experience of working in a family environment.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum 2 years in childcare and housekeeping

Details of any qualifications needed for this job: Level 3 in child care is preferred but not essential
Days of work: Saturday or Sunday plus option of Tuesday and Thursday
