French-Speaking Nanny/Governess – Battersea, London

A highly experienced and qualified Nanny/Governess is required to care for and educate a gentle and loving 5-year-old boy in a warm, nurturing, and well-structured family home located in Battersea.

The family is seeking someone with strong traditional values, who can balance gentle guidance with firm but fair boundaries, helping the child to build confidence, self-discipline, and social skills, while supporting his academic development through engaging and structured learning.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Be fluent in French (native or near-native level)

Hold a university degree (preferred)

Demonstrate longevity in previous roles with excellent references

Provide academic and developmental support tailored to a 5-year-old’s needs

Be warm, nurturing, and organised, with high energy and initiative

Prepare healthy, home-cooked meals for the child

Undertake light housekeeping duties

Be willing to travel occasionally with the family

Location:

Battersea, London (within walking distance of King’s Road)

Working Hours:

Out of Term Time (Full-Time): Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 6:30pm

During Term Time (Reduced Hours):

Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 8:30am (or 11:30am) and (1:00pm or) 3:30pm – 7:30pm

Additional hours and a full-time salary can be offered to the right candidate

Start Date: ASAP
