Are you a passionate and dedicated
Spanish or italien or English speaking nanny looking for a long-term role with an adventurous, international family? We are seeking a warm and experienced nanny to provide exceptional care for two delightful little girls in a dynamic and fully-staffed home.
This is a unique opportunity to join a loving family that values teamwork and collaboration. You will have the chance to work in a beautiful natural setting in Umbria, Italy (they also spend time in a Tuscan town close to the coast), travel throughout Europe, and even spend extended time (4-5 weeks) each year in the U.S.
The Role
* Schedule: 6 days per week, from 12pm to 8pm. 9am-7:30pm with 1.5hr lunch break when children are on holiday and on the weekend. You will have one day off per week.
* Travel: You must be flexible and comfortable with extensive travel, including varying time zones and locations. Your adaptability is key to meeting the family's diverse needs.
* Accommodation: You will be provided with a private apartment located near the family's home, offering a perfect balance of privacy and accessibility. Your partner is welcome to live with you if you have one, as the family is happy to accommodate this.
* Compensation: The salary ranges from €1700-€2000 per month, depending on your experience and qualifications. A higher salary is possible in the future or for an exceptional candidate.
Key Responsibilities
* Nurturing Environment: Create a safe, warm, and loving environment that supports the emotional and developmental growth of the children.
* Routine & Activities: Establish and maintain a healthy daily routine, including consistent sleep schedules and nutritious meals.
* Engaging Play: Plan and lead creative, age-appropriate activities that promote curiosity, learning, and cognitive development.
* Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a supportive team within a fully-staffed home to ensure smooth household operations.
* Flexibility & Autonomy: Be adaptable to changing travel plans and family dynamics. You must feel confident and comfortable being solely responsible for the children and their needs when the parents are away.
Essential Requirements
* EU Passport: Absolutely essential for travel purposes.
* Nanny Experience: A minimum of 3 years of professional nanny experience, especially with toddlers and infants.
* Education: A background in early childhood education or pedagogy is highly preferred..
* Location: You must be happy living in a rural, countryside location and be comfortable with the family's affectionate and docile dog.
