Full time nanny taking care of 2 girls, 8 & 10 yo. We live in N1, 10-15mins walking distance from King's Cross Tube or Angel Tube or Caledonian Road & Barnsbury Overground. Hours are 12-7.30pm Mon-Fri when school is open, flexibility during school break is essential, as hours can go up to 7.30am-7.30pm during school break (with 5-6 hours break in the middle of the day). It is essential that the nanny can commit to working around children's changing timetable (school terms, after school activities may vary etc.). We do not require extra babysitting or any late hours (no later than 7.30pm). We do not need the nanny to travel with us for holiday coverage (paid holidays for the nanny whenever the family travel). 5-7 weeks paid annual leave, it is also important we agree on annual leave well in advance (we usually take 5 weeks family holiday per year, scheduled 1 year in advance, usually during school break, but we need solid coverage elsewhere as both parents work full time with little flexibility). We offer annual salary up to £45k gross, paid equally monthly. Pensions included, nanny's meals are also covered if she prefers having them at our place. Nanny's duties are mainly school pick up, coordination and supervision for children's various after school activities and homework, family dinner cooking (confident cook absolutely essential), light housework (organising the household, shopping family groceries, planning menus, keeping the kitchen as tidy as how she finds it in the morning, coordinating with our cleaner etc.), and running errands for the family. We communicate frequently with the nanny regarding the kids' education and day to day life, and consider the nanny someone very important in our family life, so fluent English is essential for this role, please only apply if you are very confident of your English and communication skills. 5+ years continuous relevant experience with verifiable references. Experience as a teacher, or as a family PA is a plus. This is a long term role for a professional nanny who can manage 2 growing pre-teen and can fit herself into a busy household with wider responsibilities, we unfortunately can not consider candidates looking for a temporary job or have changed frequently families in the past.
