We are a young British couple with a 2-year-old son and are expecting a daughter in late June/early July. ?We currently live in New York but will be relocating to London over the summer to be closer to family and friends. ?Both of us work in demanding roles that require very full time hours of work and occasional overnight travel.
?We have bought a home in the Bedford Park are of Chiswick West London.? We have family homes in Scotland, France, and the US (East Coast) where we spend significant amounts of time. ?We have a small, well-trained dog and enjoy countryside activities at our farm in Scotland.

Ours son sleeps soundly from 7pm to 7am and has a 1-to-2-hour nap after lunch. ?He is a little shy but plays nicely with children and adults once properly introduced. ?We expect him to attend some form of daily nursery or kindergarten until September 2026 when he will start school. Our baby daughter will be at home for at least a couple of years before going to nursery.

?The Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and caring nanny to join our family and have sole charge of our children.
?The nanny will live with us and will be provided with en-suite accommodation. (live out is possible if you live very close to the family. It is also possible to live in during the week and live out at weekends - aside from the few times when you might be needed to proxy parent over the weekend)
?Regular travel, including occasional multi-week periods, will be expected.
The ideal candidate will see nannying as their vocation and passion.
Crafting activities (indoor and outdoor) to support the children's growth and development is important.
?A typical day for our 2-year-old would involve morning routines, afterschool activities, and evening routines.
?Other responsibilities include preparing nutritious meals, doing the children's laundry, and helping them keep their rooms and play areas tidy.
?Light household tasks may be required during periods when the children are not being actively supervised.
?The expected working hours are approximately 55 hours per week, including 2 nights of "babysitting" post 7pm bedtime.
?Occasionally, both parents may be traveling on week nights or weekends.

?Requirements:
Prior experience as a sole-charge nanny with excellent references.
Experience with newborns and toddlers.
Licensed driver (own car not required).
All necessary Paediatric/First aid/CPR and background checks, including an enhanced DBS certificate and DBS update service.
Fluent English speaker - if you can also speak fluent French that's fab!
Right to work in UK (& already living in the UK) and have proof
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work,
Demonstrate longevity in your work history on your CV
Able to run after small children
Be available long term
Happy to live in, or if you live very close by live out is ok.

Ideal Candidate
Our perfect candidate would very much see herself as part of our family and have a "muck in" attitude. They would be fun-filled with lots of creative ideas to do with the children including outdoors and indoors. They would be enthusiastic about travelling with the family, and exploring with the children.
