An international family based in Dubai is looking for a qualified and experienced nanny to provide care and developmental support for their daughter aged 2.

This is a rota position, working 3 weeks on/ 3 weeks off in rotation with another nanny employed by the family. The family also has a 5-year-old son, who has his governors. The children speak English, French, and Russian.

The family lives in a fully-staffed house. No cooking or cleaning is required but the nanny should help to keep play areas tidy and organised together with the little girl. A driver can be provided for work-related purposes. The parents are very active in their children’s day-to-day lives and are around to support the children and the candidate when required.

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will be a native-level speaker of English. French or a different second language could be a positive. The candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. Early childhood education or childhood psychology qualifications would be a huge plus. The family is really on the lookout for a positive, active candidate with a lot of good energy; a warm, bubbly disposition would be welcomed.

The nanny should be confident and experienced in all typical nanny duties, including dressing, hygiene, health, nutrition, reading, and morning and bedtime routine, and should also be happy to plan and suggest activities for the little girl.

The family wishes to employ an energetic, caring, and responsible person who is First Aid trained, a confident swimmer, hands-on, reliable, and capable of working independently. The family is ideally looking for a long-term candidate.

Excellent references and a background check are essential.
