A warm and loving family, with one little boy aged 9 months at the start of the position are looking for a kind and gentle nanny to start in July 2024, four days a week Monday – Thursday 8am – 6pm when mums goes back to work and then increase to five days a week in November 2024. The role is live out but they are providing a separate flat.
The family are based in West Hackney, North London. They are looking for a nanny who has previously looked after children in a similar age, and someone who will:
– Be nurturing and caring, and also Instill good manners and provide firm but fair discipline
– Be a self-starter who proactively identifies interesting activities in the local area and takes him to groups where he can engage with other children; and also stay with them for many years.
At 5 months old, their son is a happy, easy-going, sociable little boy. He naps well in the day-time, and is a calm and content baby. He loves the Usborne ‘touchy-feely’ books, and will be soon starting the weaning process, so someone that is confident with baby led weaning and letting him explore different tastes and textures would be ideal! The family are keen to find someone that values open communication and working as a team to ensure their little boys has consistency and love. This really is a wonderful role to work for a down to earth, and friendly family.
Accommodation provided:
1 bedroom flat in Bow (Bow Common Lane, E3 London). A modern, furnished flat with a balcony, within a 9-flat development built in 2016, with a lovely community feel given the size of the building. The location is in between Canary Wharf and Victoria Park, benefiting from the ample amenities of each. The apartment is a 30 minute cycle to the family’s home, with a specific bicycle storage facility available at Bow Common Lane. Public transport options include one stop on the central line, followed by 3 stops on the overground, plus numerous bus alternatives. All bills included.
