Full-time Houskeeper/nanny, Chelsea

This family got in touch with Arthur’s House as they are looking for a full-time home care solution. The family of four have two sweet boys who need after-school care in term time and support in school holidays alongside general daily housekeeping.
They would love to secure an experienced housekeeper/nanny for the role who is able to perform both elements of the role well.

Hours: 10.30-19.30 Mon-Fri (Some flexibility on timings in the morning and time of year)
Salary: Up to £21 gross per hour
Start Date - open (latest start September)
Charges: 2 boys aged 9 and 7
Pets: Small friendly dog
Role: Housekeeping / Nanny position

Responsibilities
- Performing full daily housekeeping duties whilst the children are at school. This includes thorough cleaning of the house, doing laundry for the whole family, cooking healthy and nutritious meals and occasional grocery shopping and other household errands.
- Walking the small dog locally around the neighbourhood and washing paws after walks.
- Safely picking up the children from the school bus (around 17.00) and transporting them home or to after-school activities as required.
- Providing support with homework, music practice and after school activities.
- Serving and supervising children’s dinner.
- Supervising play dates and making sure the children are safe and suitably stimulated eg. With games and art/craft etc.
- Preparing school/ sports bags for the next day and keeping an eye on the school/club/activity schedule and requirements.
- Assisting with children bedtime routines if required, such as helping the children get ready for bed and reading bedtime stories
- Coordinating with parents on all home and children related matters.


Requirements
- First Aid Certificate, Right to Work in the UK, up to date DBS
- Previous experience in childcare and housekeeping
- Fluent English
- Excellent references from previous roles
- Flexibility to pick up additional hours if possible
