24/6 Nanny required to start ASAP in LA until July with European travel over the Summer then moving to Paris

This lovely family is looking for a permanent residential nanny to care for their baby boy who was born in December 2023. They are looking for a confident, happy, good-natured nanny who has a good understanding and experience of working with babies of a similar age – weaning etc. The role is a mix of shared care and sole charge and the nanny should be aware of and respect professional boundaries. They should be well travelled and have lived or worked in Europe as well as being organised, good at planning ahead and working on their own initiative.

The family currently employ a night nurse and she will be with the family until the end of April 2024. The little boy is in a good routine and the parents are happy for the nanny to attend classes and groups with him.

This will be a live in position with the nanny generally working 24 hours, 6 days per week with around 7 days off every 2- 3 months, around travel etc. The family require a nanny who is flexible and happy to travel with them - they will be in the US until early July, will travel in France and Greece over the summer, and be back in Paris, where they are based, from September / October time.

The nanny accommodation will comprise of their own room and bathroom. All nursery duties will be required to include preparing fresh food for the baby when he is weaning and beyond, doing his laundry, and keeping the nursery and other play areas clean and tidy. The family also employ a Housekeeper.

A second language such as French would be advantageous but not essential.

A driver is not essential.

The family have 1 small dog.
