Rota, 2 wks on/off 24hr or 12 hours p/d when in London, Live out. Fluent French speaking nanny
A Live in/Live out rota position is available in West London. Our super, kind, warm international family is looking for an experienced, responsible and fun, fluent French speaking nanny to look after their 2 young children. The rota nanny who is leaving has been extremely happy with them and say they are one of the best families she has ever worked for.

Start date is asap. The family is flexible on salary £60-£70k. Rota 2wks on/ 2wks off. This is a live out rota position, where you will work a 12 hour day for 14 days on (then 14 days off) in London. However, the salary covers 24/14, when the family is away, you would be expected to stay over and be available for 24 hrs.
Their children are G12m and B 3y in July. The little boy goes to nursery each morning.

Looking for a nanny with lots of energy and initiative, who will arrange plenty of fun activities and excursions, including a social life for both children with playdates. Mum works partly from home, but will be more office based as time progresses. She will want to be able to see the children at lunch time or at a tea break during the day, so nanny should be comfortable with this. She will be careful that this does not interrupt nanny’s plans.

This young family enjoy a positive, friendly and open environment at home. Mum explains that she likes good communication and for everyone to know what they are doing. Things work well for them and for the children when the structure and routine is followed.

The family keep a very clean and tidy house and it is important to the family that the nanny also likes it this way.
They are looking for a nanny who will be a long term part of their household/ family. They look after their staff and believe in give and take and giving each other flexibility when required, eg. If the nanny wants to take extra holiday.

The family travel overseas during holidays, to stay with their family’s homes abroad. They spend summer at the beach house in New York (The Hamptons) and they spend time in France and Germany too. When they are abroad the rota schedule might be 3w on/off. They don't expect their rota nanny to stay with them longer than that at anytime. They will fly you home and the other nanny will be flown out to them.

The family will be moving into a large newly renovated house in September this year, with more space and more bedrooms. They will then employ a private chef.

Nanny should be experienced enough to be comfortable with shared care, sole care and proxy-parenting.
This family does not have any pets, but there is a very friendly dog at the grandparent’s beach house in New York.

They would love for nanny to see the travelling part of the job as fun and exciting and something they like to do.
It would be helpful if nanny could drive, as this could be helpful for the job but also for the nanny themselves when abroad, but driving is not needed in London.

The family is high profile and discretion is important.
Requirements
Completely fluent in French
Recent baby experience
Previous rota experience
Had considerable experience of sole charge experience of 2 young children (one being a baby)
Living within short commute of North Kensington / Notting Hill
Up to date Enhanced DBS (we can help you apply)
Recent Paediatric First Aid certificate
Right to work in UK
Good references for recent and relevant nanny work and jobs that have each lasted a good length of time.
Able to run after young children
Be available long term
Excellent English
Must be tidy and clean and happy to keep home environment tidy and clean

Ideal Candidate
Reliable, energetic, pro-active, enjoys travelling, fun, lives close by. Nanny should have considerable baby experience as there might be another baby to look after at some point.
