Role Summary:
A high-profile family based in Sofia, Bulgaria, is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Live-In Nanny
to care for their 18-month-old child. This position is a transition from a maternity nanny,
requiring a professional who can seamlessly integrate into the family’s routine. The role offers
an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a shared-care environment, as the parents
are actively involved in their child’s upbringing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full-time care for an 18-month-old child, including but not limited to feeding, bathing,
and engaging in developmentally appropriate activities.
- Work collaboratively with the parents in a shared-care setting, respecting their involvement
while offering professional guidance and support.
- Manage a schedule of 5 days per week, with 24-hour shifts. You will have the monitor overnight.
You will have a 3 hour break each day whilst on duty.
- Accompany the family on international travel, necessitating a valid EU passport.
- Create a stimulating, nurturing, and safe environment for the child.
- Monitor the child’s development and report any concerns to the parents.
Candidate Profile:
- Must be a fun, active, and easy-going individual who enjoys the presence of parents during
childcare.
- Fluent in English, with proficiency in French considered a significant advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar role with verifiable references.
- Possess a positive, professional attitude and a high standard of care.
- Qualifications in childcare or early childhood education are highly desirable.
- Must be comfortable with international travel as part of the role.
