Nanny

We are a loving, easygoing family with very active 2.5 year old girl and new baby due in April.
We are looking for a playful, enthusiastic and trustworthy nanny to support the happiness and development of our children and be a team player for us as parents. We already have a great nanny who needs to reduce her days to 3 days/week so we are seeking someone to help with the other 2 weekdays and at least Saturdays with Sundays available if you’d like more hours.

3-4 days per week, must include Saturdays and potentially Sundays.
Hours – 8am - 7pm.

TRAVEL
You will be required to travel with the family, this may be approx. 8 weeks per year internationally.
You will be required to have sole charge overnight with the children on occasion.

EXPERIENCE & QUALITIES
5 years or more experience with multiple children of similar ages.
Be very engaged in playing with children, using imagination and creativity.
Prepare healthy meals and share cooking duties for the family.
Be proactive and take initiative in helping family life and the household run smoothly.
Excellent English skills
Children's First Aid and CPR certificate
Child care qualifications highly regarded

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensuring the care of children is met on a daily basis in a fun, loving and playful manner
Accompanying children to activities & classes including swimming lessons on public transport
Punctual afternoon nursery drop-off and pick-up
Kind and firm behaviour management for those 'toddler moments'
Helping instil courteous behaviour and manners in children
Preparing, serving and cleaning up meals and healthy snacks for the children
Bathing and dressing children
Sharing family cooking duties as needed
Planning and undertaking age-appropriate creative and outdoor activities
Organising and hosting regular playdates
Ensuring good communication with parents
Running day to day errands and providing ad hoc support on housekeeping
Cleaning and tidying on all things ‘children’ where necessary, for example, their bedrooms, playroom etc.
Implementing daily routines & following sleep schedules
Packing and organising children’s bags for day to day activities and holidays
Maintaining a high level of personal presentation.
