English nanny

Location: Central, Hong Kong
Working hours: 5 days a week (including Sat and Sun), up to 9 hours/day (roughly 12-9pm during the week)

Annual leave: 18 days annual leave + Hong Kong public holiday (roughly 17 days a year)

Salary: £4000-4500/month

A Chinese family is seeking a support nanny to working alongside their main governess with a 2.5 year old girl, currently at morning school 5 days per week.. The girl is mainly taken care of by the governess who joined the family earlier this year. This position is therefore a support role where the person is required to step in when the governess is not available, for example, for some travels. During down time, the nanny is required to handle some child-related PA duties.

Weekends are mandatory because the current governess breaks on weekends. The girl already has a solid routine and is already sleep-trained. The support nanny is therefore required to follow through with her usual schedule. The family travels frequently within Asia. They also frequently go on short trips during summer within Hong Kong. Ideal candidate must be comfortable working in various different environments.

The ideal candidate should have min 3 years experience as a full time sole-charge nanny with similar age group, speak excellent English and with an understanding of the Mandarin language. Degree educated candidates preferred but not mandatory. Candidates with relevant education in Early Years will be given priority. The role can commence any time. Living arrangement can be negotiated.
