Nanny (Special needs)
Rota Nanny - South West London - June 2022 start.
This busy family is looking for an experienced, professional, and engaging Rota Nanny with a mature approach, to work on a 7 days on/off rota.
The role is working work with a 7 year old. The Rota Nanny needs to have SEN experience, specifically with children who have ASC and ADHD. This person needs to be patient, caring and sensitive in supporting the child in the home environment and working with the child’s home-school teacher to ensure that there is consistency with approach.
The child is very bright, engaging, has a love for learning new things. The successful candidate would need to have lots of energy, be outgoing and have a great sense of humour as these are all qualities that the child has and enjoys in their nanny. The other rota nannies have been in the position for over two years and are experienced in caring for children with SEN so it important to have someone they can work alongside who can bring ideas and approaches, but also keep consistency with as this is very important for the child. The Rota Nanny will need to have a firm but fair approach, who is able to maintain clear boundaries as this is what the child thrives on.
A Rota Nanny who has experience of working in a rota position previously would be advantageous but not essential. This is a fully staff household so the main focus is on caring for the child while they are at home, during school hours the Rota Nanny will be expected to keep up with administration duties and planning for evenings, weekends and holidays when the child will be at home.
The Rota Nanny needs to be happy to travel as there is travel both to Europe and internationally during the school holidays.
The family do have dogs.
A car driver is not required.

Working days: 7 days on, 7 days off
Accommodation: Own room/bathroom with separate entrance
Salary: £65,000 - £70,000 gross per annum
