Full Time SEN Nanny needed – St Johns Wood

A wonderful family with 2 boys aged 9 and 11 years old are seeking a nanny to join their family in St. John's Wood. The 2 boys have additional needs. They are seeking a warm, enthusiastic and experienced nanny that has experience with of working with children with autism and ADHD. Reliability, flexibility, discretion and a calming personality are qualities that are essential for the nanny to have.

The family require the nanny to travel occasionally so flexibility to do so is a must.
The children have a very good routine and they would like the nanny to follow and keep to the children’s routines. They are very focused on the nanny providing a stimulating and calm environment for the children and supporting their development in all areas. Somebody creative that can plan and implement age appropriate activities and share suggestions/input with the parents would be ideal! Somebody with excellent communication skills with both the children and parents is key and to work in partnership with the weekend nanny to continue consistency during the week.

The children have recommendations from teachers and outside agencies and would like the nanny to support and implement the recommendations made by them. For instance, when the children are at school time could be spent planning activities/schedules. Please note that experience in supporting education wouid be a bonus. The boys currently attend school 2 days per week. The rest of the week is online learning. The nanny would be required to supervise these sessions and assist where necessary. Planning a daily schedule full of stimulating activities is essential.

This is a staffed household with a specialist weekend nanny, housekeeper and driver. The nanny will be required to be a team player and work well alongside the other staff and follow recommendations and the routine In place.
