Part Time Nanny
Hi there,

We are a family of 3; my 4 year old son, 2 year old son and me. We also have a 1 year old Labrador who is very friendly but he's big and wants to be involved in everything so you should be comfortable with dogs!

As a family, we are very warm and friendly and the boys take to new people being around, very quickly. The nature of my work means that I am in and out of the house so I'm looking for someone who has enough experience to be able to keep the boys with them and not allow them to run upstairs when I'm working but to do it in a way that's fun for them. As I'm having to work from home it can be tricky if they know I'm upstairs! There is plenty of space in the house and a good sized garden but they need to kept occupied as like any little boys, they have a lot of energy.

The boys' nursery is very sociable and they are often on playdates so I need someone who feels comfortable with actively organising this with other nannies/Mothers. I appreciate this might be different in the current circumstances but things like taking them to run around in the park, going on picnics etc with their friends is important.

I am also looking for someone who can cook home cooked food for them. They are not too fussy but I often don't have the time to cook so it would be good for them to have this.

As life is busy and they both have a lot of energy, I'm looking for someone who is calm and loving for them. My youngest boy is particularly attached to me and he does need any nanny to be firm whilst giving him lots of love. I won't in any way get under your feet, although I am in and out, I'm a big believer in letting you get on with things. I need someone who will take the initiative to do what they want with the boys.

Finally, I would need any nanny to help me with the boys' laundry and make sure things are tidied up at the end of the day. I wouldn't of course expect any cleaning, more keeping things in order. It would also be preferable for you to manage the weekly online shop.

In terms of hours, I can be relatively flexible if the fit is right. Finding the right person for the boys is the priority. Rough hours would be:

Monday: 10-5
Wednesday: 3-7
Thursday: 12-7
Friday: 10-5

Please do get in touch if you think this might be the right fit!

Thank you, Sarah
