Part Time Nanny
We are a busy and active family with a sweet natured 8 year old boy.

Given the role and salary, we anticipate that it may appeal to someone looking for a live-in position, but we are equally happy to hear from you if you prefer to live-out. We have previously employed live-in and live-out nannies, and both arrangements work well for us.

We are looking for a fun loving and kind person to look after our son. During term time, you would take him to and collect him from school, supervise homework and playdates, and make him a healthy meal each day. You would also be responsible for the usual household tasks relating to children (such as shopping for his food, doing his laundry and cleaning his dishes). We have a separate cleaner, and so household tasks would be limited. In school holidays, you would work full days Monday to Thursday when we would love you to organise and enjoy outdoor activities, museums and so on.

We usually have breakfast as a family at 7.30am and you would be welcome to join us. We would hand over to you at 7.45 am to get our son ready for school. He would need to be collected from school at 3.20pm. You would finish in the evening at 7pm when we arrive home, although we would ask for some flexibility because we are occasionally delayed by transport home and we will occasionally ask you to babysit in the evening.

We live in a lovely leafy residential area of London. Richmond Park is within walking distance and we are close to the river and Kew Gardens. Our house is in Central East Sheen, with all the local shops on our doorstep. Our son has a good group of local friends, and there is a large sociable network of both nannies and parents. Quality of life in East Sheen is good.

It is not essential that you drive: There are good transport links to East Sheen. The nearest overground station is Mortlake (5 minutes walk away with trains into Waterloo), and school is a 15 minute walk away. There are numerous buses with stops 5 - 10 minutes away (33/337/419/533/209/493). Richmond, Barnes, Putney and Hammersmith are a short bus ride away.

Ideally, we are looking for someone to stay in the role long term, but would like you to stay for a minimum of 12 months.
