A full-time working couple are seeking a Daily Governess/Nanny for their 10 years boy and 5 years girl in Earls Court – SW5
Contracted days/hours Mon – Fri. Term time from 14:00 - 19:00 and holidays from 10:00 - 18:00.

Both parents have demanding jobs and often travel - one parent will always be in London. They also have a lovely daily full-time housekeeper (we placed her and she is helpful and easy to work with) who is around to assist with pick-ups.

Job description
To work in a team with both parents and school to support both children’s intellectual development and overall well-being. Provide safe and stimulating home environment. Carry out the afterschool routines of collecting, afterschool clubs, homework, bath and bedtime routine. During holidays, organise fun days out to support school projects and social activites.

Duties and responsibilities
During term time, the Nanny will have time before collection to get meals and learning activites prepared. Collect the boy from school via a short drive. The housekeeper will collect the girl from school which is walking distance. Have good communication with the teachers. Take to clubs. Support school homework and stretch learning. Dinner and bath/bed routine. Ensure school bags- uniform are ready for the next day. Establish trusting and loving relationships. Be a positive – good role model. During holidays, organise fun days out as a follow-up from school projects. Creative – arty projects. Social dates.

Key Requirements
We are seeking a Nanny with similar experience of working in private homes with school-ages. Will have the ability to quickly establish trusting and loving relationships with both children. Sound knowledge of the school curriculum and skilled at creating learning opportunities and having a positive impact on intellectual development. Contribute to learning life skills and independence. Super organised as afterschool hours are busy with ensuring both children have the right kit and are at the right place on time. The housekeeper can assist when needed. Cook a basic – healthy meal. English mother tongue and a confident driver.

The start date is flexible. Salary £37,214 gross per annum + travel expenses covered + pension contribution.
