We are looking for a live in nanny / au pair for our 2 children, a boy age 6 and a girl age 4. Needed to look after the children from 7am, including breakfast and school drop off, then collect from school at 3.15 and cook dinner, manage home work / play dates / after school activities until bath and bed time (Mum usually home c. 6.30pm). Needs to be flexible with little babysitting required most months, but for c. 2 months a year, Mum not home until after 8 and Dad frequently travelling. Also required for school holidays. No formal cleaning needed, but must be helpful around the house (eg managing Ocado delivery, emptying dishwasher, keeping playroom & children's rooms tidy, doing children's laundry and managing any workmen who come to the house).
Accommodation is in a self-contained basement flat, with kitchenette & living area and separate single bedroom & bathroom.
We are looking for someone who has a lot of initiative to entertain children during the holidays, who is enthusiastic but firm to ensure homework gets done and who can cook good, healthy meals. References required.
