We are looking for a full time live in nanny to join our family. We currently have one child, 4.5 boy and he is in school full time - 10 min walk from the house. The care will be before and after school, and while he is in classes, help with planning meals, picking up groceries, keeping his toys/nursery organized. We have a new baby coming in June, for the first few months care will be shared with mom (we will have a night nurse), and post September, the focus will be on the baby as our son will be 5.5 years old and will be in school until 3:45. Both parents work out of the house and travel for work. We are looking for someone who has done 24-5 care and proxy parenting in the past for other families, long term. Most weeks, we will not need 24-5 care, only when both parents are out of town for work, which is a few times a month. We already have a housekeeper, but someone who is neat and knows how to keep kitchen tidy after they cook, is organized and proactive is important. We will NOT need the nanny to travel with us and no weekend work is required with the exception of some rare events coordinated ahead of time depending on nanny availability. Newborn and school-aged experience is a must. Position available start of Feb or later, we have a temporary nanny now, while we look for the right long-term nanny. We are a kind and easy going American family. There is a separate bedroom and bathroom for the nanny to have. Location is south of Sloane Sq. Good English is important, second language a plus but not required. 550 net salary, for weeks where overnights are needed, we wil be paying extra. Please email me for more details.
