Full time live-out nanny housekeeper position in Fulham!

We are a family of four based in Fulham looking for a full time live-out nanny-housekeeper starting in February/March 2020. My husband and I have two children, our sweet natured funny daughter Luna who is three years old and our son Bear who is currently 12 weeks old!

This is a full-time role and the hours are 7.30am – 6.30pm Monday to Friday. I work in the City full time; my husband works from home but is often out of the house and Luna attends local nursery 9 - 3.30pm during term time.

We are looking for a kind, friendly, fun and responsible nanny with a great sense of humour who can create a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment in which the children can thrive and develop. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake all duties that relate to the children as well as keeping the house in order.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following:

- Provide care such as bathing, dressing, bottle feeding, changing nappies and planning/preparing nutritious meals.
- Confidently implement and manage daily routines for both children (we like routine!). Share children's daily activities/schedule with parents.
- Take and pick up Luna from nursery each day (this is a 2 min walk from house)
- Make sure the children are active and social, by organising play dates, attending baby/toddler classes and taking children on outings.
- Organise and provide activities such as creative arts and crafts, sensory play, singing, reading and other various learning opportunities.
- Reinforce appropriate discipline and teach children social behaviours, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores.
- Take care of children in case of injury or illness.
- Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development and keep parents informed of developmental steps.
- General household cleaning and tidying.
- Laundry and ironing
- Cooking/help in kitchen
- Errand running (post office, dry cleaning, food shopping)
- Role includes one night of babysitting per week.


Requirements:

- Experienced professional with proven newborn and toddler childcare experience
- Excellent understanding of child development at different age stages.
- Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children.
- Physically fit, energetic, good judgement skills.
- Organised, good communicator, trustworthy and reliable.
- Up to date DBS check and paediatric first aid.
- English speaker preferred.
- Driver preferred although this is not essential, use of family car provided (subject to driving / insurance history)
- Non smoker

Salary negotiable, 28 holiday days including bank holidays.
