We have a great role available for a Nanny looking to work with school aged children. The family are looking for an energetic, kind and organised Nanny to look after their two children aged 7 years and 12 years old and help with the running of the house. This is a sole charge, permanent position.

Start Date:
Preferably September but some flexibility for the right candidate

Days and Hours:
Preferably
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Term time: 1:30pm – 7:30pm
School holidays: 8am – 6pm

However, the family can be flexible and are happy to offer less days and hours if this fits in better for the Nanny.

Salary:
£14 - £16 Gross per hour
£27,160 - £31,040 Gross per annum

Duties:

While the children are at school, the Nanny would be asked to use this time to support the general running of the house i.e let the cleaner in, run the odd errand, empty the dishwasher and usual nursery duties, such as prepping dinner for the children, change the children’s bedding, complete laundry for the children and keep communal areas tidy. The Nanny would then complete school pick up, take the children to after school activities, oversee homework, arrange playdates and plan fun and educational activities in the school holidays. The family have a dog so the Nanny would have to be comfortable with animals.

Requirements:

- Minimum of two years previous Nanny experience and experience with children of a
similar age
- Ability to help with homework
- DBS
- Fluent in English and strong communication skills
- Paediatric First Aid
- Driver is not essential but a bonus

Role would suit:

This role would suit a candidate who is able to have fun with the children but also able to put boundaries in place and manage the children’s behaviour. It would also suit a Nanny who is able to work on their own initiative and hit the ground running and look after the children and manage the home while the parents work long hours.
