Whether reading together or alone, books help to inspire children\u2019s imaginations and encourage creativity.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Crafts<\/strong> \u2013 Give a child a box of paper, glue, googly eyes and pipe cleaners and you can easily lose them to a world of creativity. The more materials you can provide, the better. This activity is perfect for those times when you need a break, so sit back, put your feet up and marvel at your child\u2019s creations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Board Games<\/strong> \u2013 Board games were all the rage a few years ago, but they seem to have lost popularity in the face of video games. Board games are a great group activity to get everyone involved! If you don\u2019t have any board games to hand, how about trying a few card games? Snap is always a favourite of young children!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Audiobook<\/strong> \u2013 If you\u2019re too busy to read to your young children or your child needs a little alone time, try playing an audiobook. Audiobooks are fantastic for children. They\u2019ll be transported into the story whilst listening to the narrator\u2019s different character voices.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Yoga<\/strong> \u2013 Yoga is a great activity to reduce stress and encourage mindfulness in children (and adults too).
