A wonderful new position has arisen for an experienced Nanny Housekeeper, in the beautiful Gloucestershire countryside, near Lechlade.

This busy and creative family are looking for a proactive, flexible and professional person to help in the smooth running of their home. Your duties will include but are not limited to: all cleaning of the beautiful home, deep cleans, laundry, ironing, preparing and cooking of some meals, running errands, liaising with contractors and some family admin. There are also some childcare duties of school runs, preparing child’s meals, taking to activities after school or at the weekends, as well as bath and bedtime routine. You will need to have experience of working in a similar environment in a high-net worth household with children, be able to work on your own and as a team. There is another Housekeeper employed, Monday-Wednesday and she has been with the family for 18 years so she will be able to support you and show you the ropes.

The family live on a beautiful private estate, located on several lakes, with access to a private swimming pool. There are opportunities for water sports, there is lots of great open space and lovely walks. They are a musical and creative family who love being active, with a great sense of adventure. They enjoy sailing their boat, mountain biking, dancing , playing music and spending time with friends.

Your day will begin at 7.30am helping the child with breakfast and getting ready for school, whilst he is at school will be time to carry out all the household duties, you can manage your day so that there will be a break of 1-2 hours and your day will end at 7.30pm when the child goes to bed. There may be some additional babysitting and occasional overnights. If someone is happy to travel with the family that would be a bonus. This position is live in on your days of work (Wednesday-Sunday). Your accommodation is an ensuite bedroom with stunning views over the lakes.
