A busy yet fun family based in Chelsea, London seeks a fantastic, proactive, and educated part-time, live-out nanny for their 2 children aged 5 and 1.5-years-old. The usual schedule will be 2pm - 8pm, Monday through Friday, and only during term time.  However, candidates will need to be flexible to accommodate for some later evenings and possible slight changes in the parents’ schedules. 

Responsibilities will mainly revolve around the older child, however candidates should be prepared to support both children (and the family in general) wherever needed.  Assume that the position will therefore include care pertaining to both children including (but not limited to):

School pick-ups and taking the children to any after school activities
Connecting with other nannies and coordinating social activities
Keeping their areas clean and tidy, managing their wardrobes, preparing for the next day
Cooking delicious and healthy snacks and evening meals, general menu planning
Supporting homework
Managing evening routines

The children are active, bright, and curious, and candidates will need to be passionate child advocates, great at engaging with their interests, encouraging learning through play, and supporting their continued development and well-being.  Candidates should bring:

A sound knowledge of the EYFS framework
A respectful, nurturing, and warm personality 
A positive and can-do attitude
Previous experience in sole charge situations but also in tag-teaming with parents
Strong communication skills and plenty of initiative
Previous experience with similar-aged children
