A great family with an 11-year-old son with autism and ADHD, is looking for a part-time manny/nanny to start in July. He's an active and affectionate boy who requires someone with a lot of energy and a good level of SEN experience. The biggest challenge with him is that he tends to obsess about topics and talk repeatedly about them. To deal with this, the right person will need patience in abundance. The boy has many interests including painting, cooking, water play, trampolining and swimming.

They're looking for a manny/nanny to provide wrap-around care before and after school. They understand this can be a tricky commitment so would probably need to be someone local.

The boy gets to school and back via school transport, so the manny would just need to get him ready and drop and pick him up from right outside their home

Duties include - help with self-care, keeping his room and bathroom tidy, meal preparation and laundry.

On 3 evenings a week, between 4:30-6:30pm, the boy has therapy so during this time the manny will be busy with housekeeping duties. There will also be the opportunity to sit in on some of the sessions so you can have a greater understanding of the 11-year-old's needs.

The new manny will have 2 weeks of overlap with the current manny so they can provide all the information needed for a successful transition.
