Full time Nanny mothers help role for a young baby in Horton Heath, SO50

This family are looking for a fixed term full time Nanny Mothers help to care for their little baby girl (4/5 months at start of role). They are looking for 7 hours a day between 7am and 7pm, with some later starts and some earlier finishes. The role is 5 days a week, Monday to Friday. They may be able to offer 4 days a week for the right candidate Ideally someone who may be open to occasional weekend support, if prearranged and agreed. They currently have a night nanny a few days a week.

Mum will be home and dad works from home; the role will be shared care. They would like to find someone who is adaptable, flexible with good communication skills to become part of the family. The position has the option to be either live in or out. They can offer a double bedroom with own bathroom.

Duties will include; planning age-appropriate activities to encourage their daughters developmental milestones, sterilising, nappy care and all usual nursery duties (children’s laundry, keeping children’s areas tidy etc) As well as helping with some light housekeeping; no deep cleaning is required as they have a cleaner.

The ideal nanny will need to have excellent baby experience and knowledge of current guidelines of weaning, sterilising etc. Someone who could advice on wake windows, age appropriate nap lengths etc to help gently encourage good sleep habits. The family would like a calm, gentle and easy going Nanny, with baby lead approach who will help encourage their little ones development.

Minimum experience Level for this job: Minimum of two years professional nannying and young baby experience

Hours of work: 35 hours a week between 7am and 7pm

Pay: Up to £17 gross per hour/£23,205 for 9 month contract
