Sennie (sen specialist/nanny/manny) for B12 & B10

Days & Hours Required: 16 hours per week. Thursday and Friday
? Thursday: 8am - 4pm ? Friday: 8am-4pm / 1pm - 10pm
Flexibility available for the right candidate - the family are happy for the candidate to
alternate between 8am - 4pm and 1pm - 10pm on Fridays if preferred


B12 is a boy on the autism spectrum, with a PDA profile who enjoys drawing and colouring, and creative role play. He loves singing and also sometimes makes up tunes and lyrics. In the past, B12 really enjoyed spending time with friends, but he was unable to settle into secondary school, so at present, he sees his friends less often. Following a plan to settle him back into secondary school, the Sennie will support B12 in making this transition by taking him to and from school, check-in with the school to ensure continuity of care for B12 and communicate with mum to identify potential areas for additional support.

B10 is a happy, easy-going and sociable boy, who enjoys being active - he particularly likes parkour and spending time with friends. B10 enjoys screen time and the family hopes a Sennie will support B10 in engaging in more activities away from screens, and improving his language in the home

Main duties / responsibilities:
? Thursday: taking B12 to and from school as required, setting up activities in the home whilst he’s out and supporting mum with light household tasks / PA duties relating to the children whilst B12 is at school
? Friday: Taking B12 to and from school as required, organise engaging and educational activities for B12 each week, support with evening and bedtime routines
? Encourage B12’s independence and boost his self-confidence when going out and about
? Taking B12 to / from appointments, tutors, therapies & activities with friends
? Engaging B12 and B10 in conversation and roleplay games away from screens
? Prepare simple healthy meals and snacks for B12
? Tidying up areas after use, such as the kitchen or bathroom; Cleaning up after B12’s mealtimes
? Encourage B12 and B10 to engage in non-screen based activities together
