Live in Nanny, North-West London, 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl

Working Days: Monday – Friday 7.30am – 7pm (timings, negotiable - Mum is normally home by 6pm and dad is home by 6.30pm (approx. 3 times a week) which means that they would be happy for you to finish then if all duties are finished. )
Children: 4 year old boy and 1 year old girl
Salary: £400 net per week
Accommodation: Own floor - bedroom with en-suite overlooking the garden
Car: Use of automatic car, if applicable
Travel: Opportunity to travel to the US, Europe and Devon with the family

A lovely live in position based in the Kensal Rise area (North-West London) to care for two loving, charming and well-behaved children on a sole charge basis. Their present nanny is leaving to pursue her dream to work as a nanny in Australia. She will happily speak to any nannies who are interested in the role.
The ideal candidate will have a proactive, warm, easy-going nature as this is a fun household. A nanny who engages with the children in a down to earth fashion, encourages their development and can build a strong connection with the family would be a great fit.
The 4 year old boy goes to nursery full-time. He is very self-sufficient and dotes on his little sister. During the day, you will have sole charge of the 1 year old girl where you can do various fun activities whilst her older brother is at nursery. She is in a great sleeping routine (30 mins in the morning, two hours at lunch-time and bed by 7pm) and loves being around other children. Both children swim each week and they both enjoy playing outside in their large garden or at the playground at the end of the road.
The family have an additional member to their family being their nine year old soppy year old Jack Russell who the children love very much!
The ideal candidate will help prepare meals, arrange play-dates and fun activities to encourage social development. The children are sociable and live-in a community with a great network of nannies so lots of opportunities for play-dates. We have a large house with a playroom and more than happy for nannies and kids to come and play at ours.
Someone flexible who would be happy to travel with the family would be an added bonus. Travel tends to be to their second home in France, vineyard in California and a few other opportunities to travel within Europe. Last year’s travel with the nanny consisted of holidaying to Necker island, France twice and California for a month in the summer holidays.
You will have your own top floor accommodation in a newly renovated large house with your own bedroom and en-suite bathroom overlooking the large garden.
The nanny will complete main nursery duties only as they have a cleaner.
Driving is not essential as everything is very local to the house but there is an automatic car provided.
An enthusiastic, warm-spirited nanny would be a great fit for this family. Mum is looking for someone to start in Jan.
