Hi!

We are looking for a nanny to come and look after our four-year-old boy for one hour before school and for 2 to 3 hours after school. Three days a week. We live in Poppleton, York.

It is a permanent position that would be for three days a week, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays . Term time only ideally but we may be able to do the odd morning or day in the school holidays if this made things better financially.

The role would be to supervise him while he plays with his toys in the morning and then walk him to the village school (five mins walk) and then in the afternoon pick him up from school, walk him home, give him a snack and supervise him, play with him or just keep him company while he relaxes in front of CBeebies (he's just started Reception and us tired after his day!).

It would be 7.45am for an hour and then 3pm in the afternoon for two to three hours.

If the nanny we (hopefully!) find wanted to stay with us, this could be a long-term position for years to come with own little boy and eventually, our daughter when she reaches school-age (she's one now and goes to nursery) to get to know them and become part of our extended family :-)
