We need a nanny to look after our daughters (aged 3 and 8 years) for 3 days per week. Days will be Mondays (7.30 - 5.30pm), Wednesdays (7.30 - 6.30pm) and Thursdays (7.30 - 7.45pm). The position will involve care of the children, school drop offs/pick ups, general nursery duties, light housework, cooking family dinner and organising relevant activities. There is also likely to be occasional babysitting (approximately 2 times a month), and very occasional overtime. This position is to cover maternity leave and is likely to be for at least 4 months (but could be longer - up to 12 months).

Minimum 2 years nannying experience/equivalent is required for this role, as is a clean driver's licence and your own car. Flexibility, reliability and commitment are key. Current Ofsted registration is required, though we would pay registration fees for the right candidate. Up to date children's first aid certificate and DBS check are essential.

The right person should be warm, fun and caring. They should be open to gentle, positive approaches to childcare and discipline with clear boundaries and an ability to cope with and juggle the needs of differing aged children.
