Nanny-Housekeeper
We are looking for an experienced Nanny/Housekeeper to work four days a week looking after our two girls, aged five and three.
We'd like someone who is calm and reliable with a good range of experience.
Our elder daughter has some special needs and receives speech therapy and occupational therapy at her mainstream primary school. She has difficulties with social use of language, processing senses and general muscle weakness. An understanding of these needs would be beneficial.
Some of her symptoms overlap with Autism although she is not autistic. She is affectionate and sweet and loves books and music.
Our younger daughter, is very bright and sparky, loves horses, games, jigsaws and books. She will be at nursery in the mornings.
Duties will involve, getting the girls up and ready for school, school/nursery run, homework, general household cleaning, family laundry and ironing, family cooking, taking deliveries and groceries.
We have a large garden with play activities, and grow some fruit and veg. We live near woods and within walking distance of a train station, village shops and cafes, and play park.
Our car will be available for use but we would prefer the nanny to use their own car.
CRB and references will be required.
We have two cats.
Non smoker required.
The days required are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Mondays can be a shorter day with a later start, if desirable, as mother will be working from home and taking elder daughter to OT.
