We are a friendly and busy working African/Asian couple living in Hampstead borders, NW London. We are looking for a live-out, full-time, long-term nanny to look after our lovely 16 month old baby son (born end-Sep 2014), to start from March or April 2016 ideally. - Sole charge role, although baby's grandmother temporarily lives with us
- Looking for a career nanny, experienced and willing to commit long-term to the role (at least 2 years)
- Flexible start date, from end-Feb/March onwards
- Hours 9AM - 7:15PM Mon-Fri, occasional weekend or evening babysitting (agreed in advance)
- Pay £8-10 net/hour depending on experience; 4 weeks paid holiday
- Must be experienced with routines and organising weekly activities including playdates, children's centre activities, playgroups, taking out to park, as well as activities at home including art and craft, music, reading/numbers etc.
- Enjoys cooking, cook nutritious food/meals for baby, experienced with potty training
- Enjoys music/playing educational games with baby
- All nursery duties e.g. baby laundry and ironing, cleaning and tidying after baby.
- Ideal if willing to undertake light housekeeping duties - vacumning/wiping surfaces/dusting, cooking simple evening meal for parents, grocery shopping
- Experienced in child development / education
- We are looking for someone who is kind, loves children, patient, punctual, clean and tidy, positive, independent, reliable, mature, responsible and a self-starter, proactive with lots of initiative and play ideas, organised, hardworking. Must also be fit and energetic as our baby boy is extremely active!
- Responsible to keep daily log of activities
- Recent enhanced DBS/CRB screening, Paediatric First Aid, non-smoker, excellent spoken English. Mandarin desirable.
- At least 2 recent references
- At least 5 years experience
- No pets
- Help with managing baby's eczema and food allergies.
