Experienced, qualified and highly professional English speaking Nanny is required for a position with a Western family based in Dubai to care for their two and a half year old daughter. The family is expecting a baby boy due in March 2016 and a maternity nurse will be employed for the first six months.

Working hours will be 6 days a week/12 hours a day, one week and the other week five days a week 24 hours. The child also attends a French nursery five days a week from 7:30am-1pm, so the nanny has time to herself. The nanny will be working within a fully staffed household in a sole and shared care capacity and will be in charge of overseeing everything related to the child, including menu planning and advice on nutrition, arranging age-appropriate activities etc. International travel will be involved, especially in the summer months, and the family travel worldwide, during which time a 24-hour cover might be required. The nanny will have her own assistant and the role involves no nursery duties.

Fluency in English is required and a second language such as French, Spanisch or German is highly desirable.

The role would suit someone with previous experience working in the Middle East and in formal households, although this is not essential; experience in caring for babies and toddlers is essential, as well as a professional, respectful, adaptable and accommodating attitude.

Accommodation can be discussed with the candidate and can either be live-in or a separate apartment close to the family villa.

Start date is early/mid October and salary offered will be in the region of £1000 - £1500 net per week, in line with previous experience and qualifications.
