Qualified Nanny

We have an amazing opportunity for an experienced and qualified nanny to spend the winter in the French Alps, doing what you love, making new friends whilst being able to ski lots! I am a small childcare company providing a flexible, professional private nanny service to families on holiday in the Morzine, Chatel and Les Gets area of the French Alps.

You will be based in the beautiful resorts of Chatel and Morzine providing childcare to local ski companies and private families. You will be introduced to other seasonaires in both resorts. If there are no bookings in either resort for you then you will have the chance to earn money cleaning local chalets should you wish OR you can take unpaid leave and hit the slopes….!

The role starts on 5th December with a 2-week training program, which will include resort orienteering across Chatel and Morzine where you will be introduced to a number of other staff in resort.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES INCLUDE:

• To plan and execute a fun filled week of activities indoor and out, using imagination and flare to ensure the children and family have the best holiday possible
• Working sole charge with a family or as part of a team looking after children from 12 weeks to 12 years, ensuring they are happy and safe at all times.
• Planning and preparing, easy yet healthy lunches
• Helping the children get ready for ski school
• Ski school drop off and pick up
• Offering a flexible, professional and personal service
• Liaising and working with your childcare manager to ensure you are organised for each bookings
• Administering medicines and any first aid if required
• Shopping for food for lunches
• Evening babysitting if required (paid as extra)

PACKAGE INCLUDES:

• Travel to and from the UK
• Competitive wage – paid through UK payroll into a UK bank account
• All accommodation across both Chatel and Morzine plus all bills

• All equipment needed for the children in your care
• 2.5 days holiday, which is accrued throughout the season

REQUIREMENTS

• You must be available for the entire contract, Early December 2015 - mid April 2016
• NNEB/CACHE NVQ 3/2 or equivalent childcare qualification
• CRB/DBS check
• First Aid Certificate
• Childcare experience
• Reference/s from a previous childcare employer
• UK bank account and NI number
