Lovely family in Bishops Stortford are looking for a professional nanny for their two children a boy aged 5 and a boy aged 11 months. The family are looking for a nanny who will stay in the longer term.

Nanny will be kind, thoughtful and calm, organised and fun with a genuine love of children. You will have a childcare qualification, a clear DBS, First aid and a clean driving licence, an on duty car will be provided. You will be or willing to be Ofsted registered. You will have a good referenced history as a nanny and really enjoy your work. You will find it natural to instill and reinforce good manners, table manners and see your charges as individuals. You will enjoy cooking interesting meals for them and be a confident cook.

Duties include sole charge of both children, the older is at school, so school runs during term time, the baby will nap during the day, this should allow time for nursery duties, which are the usual laundry for the children and ironing, mending and cooking, organising and keeping their rooms tidy and keeping the kitchen clean. In the afternoons you will find time to read with the older one and help with any homework. Holiday duties will include lots of activities day trips out and playdates with their friends.

The hours vary through the week but will be:
Monday - 7:30 - 6:30
Tuesday - 7:00 - 6:30
Wednesday - 7:00 - 6:30
Thursday - 7:00 - 6:30
Friday - 7:30 - 6:30

There would be one evening of babysitting every three weeks which would be paid separately.

Salary is negotiable but very fair with a September start. The family are happy to wait for the right candidate as that is much more important to them.


Mum and dad both work full time so they are looking for someone reliable with great experience who is looking for a down to earth, friendly family who truly care for their nanny and involve her in their family life
