We are two families who live next door to each other in Walthamstow (near Lloyd Park) looking for a nanny to care for our 1 year old sons for 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday). It is a live out position starting in July with working hours from approximately 8am to 6pm. Flexibility to work longer hours is likely to be required on occasion and if availability permits, we would like 6 - 10 hours childcare per week in the run up to the start date, as a settling in period.

We are looking for a nanny who is caring, reliable, energetic and flexible. The ideal candidate will be smiley and enthusiastic with at least two years sole care experience of more than one child and a passion for food. A cat lover would also be a bonus as both households have cats.

The duties will include sole charge of our children, dressing them, preparing most of their meals and doing related shopping and tidying up. We have very similar parenting styles and understand the need for for the boys' routines to be in sync once the nanny share begins. We have done baby led weaning from 6 months and make the majority of their food from scratch. We prefer lots of fresh air and no television or screen time. Ideally they will have one playgroup or playdate and one outdoor excursion each day.

The salary is £14 per hour gross with four weeks paid annual leave plus bank holidays.

A non-smoker with strong English language skills is essential. CRB/DBS check, first aid and references will be required.
