Nanny-Housekeeper
We are looking for a part time nanny-housekeeper / after school nanny-housekeeper from now until end of June.

We have three children, Henri, Lola and Julien, aged five 1/2, three 1/2 and 6 months respectively. They have a huge amount of energy. We mean it! Henri in particular can be demanding - he cycles or runs everywhere and we jokingly call him our personal trainer. Lola is a very happy young lady. She loves making jokes and telling long stories. Above all she enjoys her meals and if you can cook a little you have almost won her over. Julien is our newest family member. Lola and Henri love him to pieces and he is a very happy, easygoing little boy.

All the five of us are avid cyclists and generally spend most of our time outdoors. We have had a few au-pair girls by now and our experience has been very good overall, but we wanted to try a nanny arrangement until the summer break and possibly switch to this way of childcare permanently for the next academic year.

We need someone with a lot of energy: three kids can be demanding! We expect you to be 100% reliable and have very good communication skills. As you are taking the kids to the school and nursery and back it is important that you enjoy the little innocent chat with the nursery and school staff, other parents or au pairs etc. so that we understand if everything is going well. This is when they tell you about little details such as Henri spilling water over the boy sat next to him at the school cafeteria! We are also interested to hear about how things are going for you.

You also want to be pro-active, anticipate if work needs to be done. If we are running out of nappies, we would like to know a few nappies in advance.

We are looking for an after school nanny-housekeeper who would typically work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 2pm - 6:30pm. We might also require help for the school run in the morning between 7am - 9am. This would amount to a total of 18 - 26 hours per week.

Here's how a typical day may look like:
From 2:00 - 2:40 do light household work, such as the laundry, tidying up the living room, children bedrooms or preparing diner. Lola and Julien need to be picked up from nursery by 3pm. You would next pick up Henri - his school closes at 3:40pm. Between then and 6.30pm you would take the kids to after school activities (football, swimming, etc.), then home, give them a bath, fix a dinner.
