Friendly family looking for a live-in nanny-housekeeper to start in February


We are a friendly professional family seeking an experienced live-in nanny-housekeeper to join us on a long-term full time basis starting immediately. We have a bubbly 3 1/2 years old boy and a 1 1/2 old baby girl. We live in a beautiful four-bedroom house, situated 23 minutes south west from London by train, and only a 5 minutes drive from Wimbledon and Kingston-upon-Thames.

We are looking for someone with a natural affinity toward children, reliable, trustworthy, responsible, experienced, kind, cheerful, proactive, flexible and hardworking who will fit well into our family.

The nannying work required will be on a sole-charge basis, both mum and dad work full time.You will be experienced with children of a young age and be able to provide stimulating and educational play, supervise meals/bedtime, get them ready for school and take them to and from activities, playdates, and school when required. You will be required to babysit (typically 1-2 nights x week).

You will also be responsible for all the housework including household cleaning, ironing, laundry and cooking. Our ideal candidate will be tidy, well organised, and experienced enough to work independently, but flexible enough to take instruction.

You will be provided with your own bedroom with ensuite bathroom located in an independent area of the house, enabling you to have your own privacy. The bedroom also features a TV and free WiFi access. All meals are included.

Job specifics:
Working hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am to 8pm (with a one hour break) and Saturday 8.30am to 1.30pm
20 working days paid holiday (4 weeks) + 8 bank holiday
Permanent contract
Salary: £1500 gross pcm
Own ensuite bedroom

Requirements to apply:
Eligible to work in the UK
DBS check or equivalent criminal record check
Previous housekeeping/nanny experience (at least a year of continuous employment with a family)
Excellent written references from previous employers
Non-smoker
Good standard of English (conversational) is preferred
Currently living the UK to attend interviews
Be over 25 years old
