Incredibly warm and loving family are seeking a kind and caring nanny to work with their disabled 8 year old daughter, who is full of fun and mischief like any other 8 year old! Although the little girl’s needs are many, you do not have to have special need experience, although this would obviously be a bonus. You do however need to be willing to learn what her needs are and the family are very patient at teaching her carers what she needs. Their previous nanny (provided by us) worked with them for almost 2 years, before returning to her hometown (and is still in touch with the family) and would highly recommend the position. Whilst you don’t need special need experience, you do need patience, determination, imagination and a little discipline thrown in for good measure! Role is for 3 afternoons weekly, Mon - Wed from 3.30pm - 7.30/8pm.

As with all our jobs, you do need to meet the following criteria to be considered for the role -

- have relevant childcare experience and genuinely like interacting with children
- have English as a first language or excellent speaking, reading and writing skills
- non-smoker
- have excellent checkable references
- hold a valid DBS check (or be willing to undergo one)
- available to start work asap
- based in UK for interview now
- have a current First Aid certificate (or be willing to train)
- have excellent punctuality
