We are a busy family of four, both Mum and Dad work. We are looking for a happy and caring live-in mother's help to look after our 2 bright and energetic sons aged six and nine years, and maintain our home.

Our older son has global developmental delay and therefore requires close supervision and attention. He loves music, football, computers, movies and being read to. He requires someone who is gentle, patient, fun, easy going, and who is caring and dedicated to looking after young children. His needs include help with his personal care, completion of Tobi's daily record of care, supervision & involvement with his therapists such as Speech and Language, Physio, OT.

You would be responsible for:
- Preparing meals for the boys - breakfast/lunch/supper
- Sitting with them to complete any homework
- Settling them in to bed
- Supporting early morning routines and school runs
- 2 nights babysitting per week (to include some Saturday nights)
- Keeping the children entertained, playing and reading with them
- Attending after school play dates and activities as necessary
- Children’s laundry, house linens and ironing
- Cleaning and tidying children’s bedroom and communal areas.
- General housework

Hours - Approximately 40-48hours per week with some flexibility and variation. Full day-off Sundays.

You must be:
- Available for interview and with all the necessary paperwork to work in the UK (VISA/Passport)
- Have a valid drivers licence
- Fun, friendly, happy and warm
- Caring, patient, loving, but tough when the need arises!
- A person with initiative and enthusiasm
- Flexible and discreet
- Fluent in English
- Non smoker
- Interested in a long term post - Minimum 12 months if we are all happy
- Childcare experience is essential
- First aid,
- CRB check (if not, this will be undertaken within the first few weeks)
- References are essential

We live in a beautiful garden city with 36minutes train travel into London Kings Cross. You will have a room to yourself, WC facilities.
Salary is competitive although variable depending upon experience; this will be discussed if we want to offer you the job.
