I am looking for a nanny for my two children. The oldest is 7, and has Aspergers. The youngest is 18 months.

Formal qualifications are not required, but I need you to be Ofsted registered for financial reasons. The most important qualification is that you enjoy playing with children.

The job involves having care of both children for 5 half days a week (can be arranged flexibly), and every saturday for the full day. It also involves babysitting one evening a week, and light housekeeping duties (helping with washing, washing up, preparing meals for the children, occasionally walking the dog - not full on cleaning).

I am hoping to return to work as a doula in March. This will involve some overnight care, but will be discussed fully before it happens.

Both children are home educated. You are not expected to deliver formal education, but this means that there is more doing activities with children or taking them to groups, rather than school runs.

The position can be live in or live out. It would be great if you can drive, but not essential.

In return I am offering a double room if you wish to live in, with your own bathroom. There is wifi and netflix and all bills are covered. The salary is £200 per week (with additional payment if overnight care is involved).. Our town is a lovely quirky town full of independent shops, and a good music scene. It has good transport links to Leeds and Manchester, and the nature of my work means you can have quite a lot of choice in when you work.
