This is a great live-in position in beautiful Sydney, close to the beach, looking after twin 2-year old boys. Very sadly our current nanny is moving on to continue her travels around Australia and we need to find someone to fill her shoes. She is very happy to speak to anyone interested in applying if they want an unbiased opinion on the job!

Our boys are a lot of fun and very rewarding to spend time with. They are in a good routine so there is some down-time during the day while they sleep. We run a small business and work mostly from home so there is someone on hand if the need arises but you would have sole charge of the boys during work hours. The job would include some cooking and light housework just to keep on top of things but we have a cleaner to do the regular cleaning. A driving licence is essential as the boys love going out and there are lots of local activities they are involved with.

We live in Sydney's northern beaches, in a beautiful leafy area, less than 15 min walk to the beach. You'd have your own room, and own kitchen, lounge and bathroom (shared with the occasional visitor only). You would also have a car for personal use. We'd love you to feel part of our family but also appreciate you would want your own life as well.

The job would start as soon as possible after 12 January and we would ask for a minimum of six months commitment, though it could continue longer if mutually acceptable. This position would be ideal for an experienced nanny who wants to earn some money to supplement travelling in Australia or elsewhere. If you are eligible for your working holiday visa (under 31 from most European and many other countries) it is ideal, though not necessarily essential.

Experience, references and a drivers licence are essential. Otherwise, our ideal nanny would be as below, but all open to discussion!
- at least 2 years experience as a nanny, including live-in positions
- 25 or older
- a capable cook
- friendly, happy, hard-working, efficient
- able to do occasional weekend/evening work as required
- experience with multiples a bonus

Rates around £250 - £360 pw, depending on hours and experience. Our nanny currently works 50hrs pw which suits us all. We are open to negotiation for the right candidate and we can also be flexible on hours.

We have lived in the UK for many years and have a business in London so visit several times a year. Where possible we'd like to interview in London upto 1 Dec but via Skype after that.
