Assistant Play Leader in an Outstanding Pre-school in Cheltenham

We are working alongside a Pre-school in Cheltenham to source an assistant play leader, to work in an outstanding pre-school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a passionate and dedicated team of practitioners. You will also be required to lead the 2s group, assisting in managing a team of 9 staff.

The Pre-school ensure that they create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment, where each child makes good progress in their learning and development.

Some of the responsibilities that the successful assistant play leader will have are contributing to creating an effective team, acting as a senior staff member and supporting staff through leading and modelling best practice. A key responsibility is driving good practice, and maintaining high standards of child care and education.

The successful assistant play leader will be working Monday to Thursday working 24 hours per week. It is essential that the successful practitioner has a working knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
