We are a Wimbledon based English couple in our early 30s with one 2 and half year old son and expecting another baby boy in March 2015.
We are looking for an energetic, kind, dedicated, reliable nanny/housekeeper to become a long-term part of our family.Live-in applicants strongly preferred. We can provide a generous furnished room with separate bathroom all located on separate floor. Other facilities provided include wifi and own cable TV in own room.
Must be fluent in English, preferably good written English too, eg able to write a shopping list.
Preferably significant prior experience in nannying. Preference for applicants 35 years of age plus.
Should be happy to do childcare, look after and entertain active 2 year old and soon new baby. Must be fit and able to walk son to nursery and play groups within Wimbledon and regular park trips etc.
Please note childcare is the most important part of this role but applicants should be willing to be flexible. Our son currently attends nursery for 3 hours, 3 times per week and has various classes/playgroups on the other days. For example, some help with cooking, follow a recipe, help with some daily housework for household, help organise household including errands such as shopping, collecting deliveries etc.
Currently looking for at least 10 hours per day (8-6pm), 4 days a week (Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri) but could offer more depending on individual, up to max 5.5 days and salary will depend on hours available and whether live in or out. Would also want to have babysitting on average 1 night per week if possible.
Preferably CRB checked but not essential if good references available.
Must have UK passport/EU/long term work visa. Please do not apply unless you have a valid permit to work in UK.
We both work and cannot take last minute leave, therefore reliability and punctuality are really important to us. We will offer paid annual leave and will pay income tax and NI.
