Are you an experienced nanny who's in between jobs or looking for some extra hours before Christmas? If so, this job could be of interest to you.

We are a laid back, cheerful family hoping to find an ad hoc after school nanny for our two children between now and the end of the year.

We're looking for someone we can call upon at the last minute to see if they are free to come over and look after the children when mum is working or needs to go to a meeting/appointment etc.

The ideal candidate would be proactive, energetic and enthusiastic, with a genuine love of children, with bags of previous childcare experience.

We have a bubbly, smiley and confident 6 year old boy and an affectionate, happy 4 year old girl, who both attend full time school.

Mum mainly works from home so it is important that we find someone who is comfortable looking after the children while mum is working - and who can occupy them sufficiently by being fun, thinking ahead, coming up with creative ideas for play and making up games etc.

You would also be required to help out with homework, prepare snacks and cook simple meals for the children and help out with bath time.

If you can drive and have your own car, then that would be a bonus as you might also be required to do the school run on occasions.

The hours would be from around 3.30-7pm.
